No problem. Do you mind this Robert E. Lee?? I hope you have a big photo for it. Thats better you can see more details.Best are digital photos. You can draw there mesh in some grafic software, see superr details. I started my first drawning from news paper,with mesh too.It is great help for proportions. You did it well but donnt forget more details. EYES are most important, it gives feeling of all. You look in eyes of girl when you first meet her or not??? Nose and mouth are dificul.For me... So its with drawning. Be careful that they are looking same way, and are same big,and closed or opened. Dont forgot to draw gathers, and all mimicry tracks. Than erase the mesh and start the show. Im first drawnning the eyes.Than face and at the end hair and clothing.Be carefull at the areas you have allready done, you must have paper under hand to not blur it. You can use HB pencil on all. At last take 2B pencil or some another soft one and finist totaly dark places,like eyes black shadows and so. The mesh must be soft like help lines.
And draw slovly no hurry.I have allways problem with it.I cant let the drawning to next day, i must it finish at one time...

Hi. Study your anatomy, don't be afraid to draw the same drawing twice, and learn to be comfortable with your surroundings.
